In her first institutional solo exhibition, Korean-born Anne Duk Hee Jordan (*1978) will be showing films, kinetic sculptures and multimedia scenarios in an immersive overall installation across two floors.
The artist examines the symbiotic relationships in which human and non-human organisms live together on earth and are exposed to the constant changes in our ecology. By integrating robotics, she reduces human hubris to absurdity, thus creating bizarre worlds that tell of the beginnings of time, the earth and the cosmos. With her utopian narratives, the artist expresses the equality of all existing species and the responsibility that comes with this.
